Could someone tell me what I should be using as a web server, PWS or IIS, with Windows Me and Ultradev 4

I'm sure someone will know the answer?

If you install IIS (from the NT Option Pack) on Windows 9x, it installs as PWS.

It's because Windows 9x doesn't have a services control manager (or so I've been told).

Also keep in mind, WinME is not like Win2k (only visually) so you wont be able to install IIS on WinME, personally I would stay away from PWS for security reasons. Karl Blessing aka kb244{fastHACK}

Yeah, Karl.
I'd only use Win ME and PWS just for development purposes. If you try to use it for production, you'll soon be very sorry (doesn't scale, easily hacked, not robust).
