i run IIS 5.0 on a win2k box...in the directory folder there are some .htaccess files, but when i view the folder from the IIS tree, the .htaccess files don't show up at all!

i don't understand. do i need to configure the IIS to run these files?

simple things like DirectoryIndex and permissions are on the .htaccess files.

is this possible through the IIS?
