Hi there

I am fairly familiar with asp pages but am having trouble running them on an IIS NT box. I have created a virtual directiry which runs of Inetpub and is configured with correct permissions etc. but I receive the following message whenever I run asp files

"An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator."

This is weirding me out because I know all the files work fine with PWS. I am sure it is a configuration problem but where do I start to look?

All help apprecaited.

Thanks

instead of just creating the "InetPub" and so forth, did you actually install IIS onto NT4 or Win2k. and also did you log onto the webserver and add the project through interdev? Karl Blessing aka kb244{fastHACK}

Hi Karl

Yeah IIS was already installed and the machine I am trying to place the files on is acting as a webserver for an intranet. I didnt use interdev to publish the files to the webserver but I wasnt aware I needed to do this.

I have since found a location where an asp page is running in the exchange folder so I may mess around with that a little, but I am still confused why its not working. Sevice pack 4 is installed so it should be sweet.

Thanks for your help.

hmmmm...
