I got a client who has Oracle IAS w/Apache running at one location (Main Office); I got two web servers running at a remote site. IIS is handling the Internet Web Pages fine. I have OpenSA running as a service on the Web servers to act as a proxy back to the Main Office for the secure Intranet. I have Load Balancing going so both servers are acting as one virtual server...
NOW ... If I have just one server going w/Apache on it typical connections thru the login screens range between 10 to 20 seconds before I'm redirected on my secure ports back to the main office. If I start both servers with Apache the connections range between 30 and 60 seconds. What is wrong? The IIS connections are fine, but the Apache connections take forever.
NOTE: Removing IIS and using Apache solo is not an option! AND IIS doesn't play well with the Apache Server on IAS!
Is it possible that Apache does not recognize the viritual IP address configured in the Load Balancing and both Apache's are trying to resolve the attempt to hit the Apache box back at the main office?
