Has anyone here actually for IIS5.0 and Apache 1.3.19 (win32) running on the same machine? I'm assuming IIS is gonna hog port 80 but I've noticed I can change the port number on Apache...is this really feasable???

You can change the port number in IIS too. Yes it is definitely possible to run both, I don't know why you would want to, but it is possible. Wushutwist

Great, reason being that I tend to roam a lot on business and I develop e-comm and tailor maide Intranets for various companies who prefere one web server over the other, so having both on my laptop is extremely useful.

Thanks for your help. Jace Hayman

In your case it is much easier. They (IIS and Apache) can both use port 80 as long as they are not both running at the same time. If you need to be simultaneously running both then you will need to change the default HTTP port of one. Wushutwist
