IS-IT--Management
Hi all,
Rebooted a Win2k3 Std SP2 server yesterday which has been running a website via IIS without problems.
After the reboot, the website was down. The wasn't running, and this was becuase the IISAdmin (which dependant on) wasn't running.
When I try to start IISAdmin I get the following error:
Error 170: The requested resouce is in use.
I've done some basic checks. Can't find anything else in the event viewer other than the actual event that has the same info as above for the service. A sc query results in the exit code being "-2147024726 (0x800700aa)", which just maps to the headline error (resouce in use). A netstat doesn't show anything using ports 80 or 443 either.
Overall system resources are pretty good, with over 1gb RAM free and CPU isn't even touching 5% on idle load.
Any ideas? Completely stuck with this!![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Cheers,
Steve.
