I have a small intranet setup at home. Since I upgraded to XP Pro SP1 a little over a year ago, I can no longer connect to my intranet from my laptop. I was able to do it before when my OS wsas Windows Server 2000. there must be some security thing that has to be resolved. Hopefully somebody in this forum can help.

Here's my particulars:
1. Desktop XP Pro SP1 running IIS
2. I have several "virtual" websites.
3. I can get to all of them from my desktop (4. I cannot connect to the default website or any of the virtual ones from my laptop.

I have tried several things including changing the security tab properties in IIS.

First I would update to SP2. Then I would post the error messages you're getting on your laptop when you try to access the intranets. Finally, I would check the event logs on the desktop to see if there's any useful information that might help figure this out.

Yes,, you are right Ihuegele..please write some information on errors you get and check for failure events in your IIS server..
