Disclaimer: I'm very rusty with Web stuff. I though his would be a simple search, but not today for me. If someone has a link, I'd be happy to RTFM.
Here's what I'm trying to do: I have an internal only server running Server 2008 R2 with IIS 7.5. Server name is Charlotte on an AD domain.
I would like set up multiple test web sites in the form Site1, site2, site3, etc. I would like them to have their own default pages and be stored in
[tt]C:\inetpub\site1
C:\inetpub\site2
C:\inetpub\site3 ...[/tt]
I want them to be accessible internally as ... (note that I don't want to set up multiple aliases in DNS.)
I'd swear I did this in an older version of IIS via virtual folders and host headers, however I can't seem to figure this out with IIS 7.5.
Can anyone help or point me to a good tutorial?
Jeff
