I have our Windows Server 2003 Cluster Quorum with an active - passive setup.

It is a webserver and one of the servers has been active for many months.

When IIS is updated with new websites etc on the active server, it doesn't carry the changes/additions over to the other server and when they are switched and the settings are then out of date.

Is it possible to keep IIS updated on both nodes?

I hope my post isn't to confusing?

Wow, that is one expensive web server.

A Load ballanced web server would have been a much less expensive system and would be just as redundant.

Here is a web page on setting up a load ballancing setup.
You'll want to basically follow the doc as it, just don't bother with the copying of the files as they are on the shared storage. It shows how to to a syncing between IIS servers.
