IIS 6.0: I can not download .java files

Hello everyone (I started a new thread because the previous subject possibly was misleading).

I have a problem with IIS 6.0 server.

I am trying to download .java files. I uploaded some .java files on the IIS 6.0 server and I want the users to download them using the "Save as..." option.

But I get the following error message when I click on the web link i.e.

http://www.demosite.com/test.java

"Page can not be found
HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.
Internet Information Services (IIS)"

I have added in IIS 6.0 (properties) MIME types the .java (application - octet stream) setting but still the same problem.

Any ideas what might be the problem?
