I installed IIS 5 on my xp pro machine. Everything worked great for a while. Then couple of months later something went wrong. The server is not working. I tried restarting it nothing. I look in the services part. It's there and running on automatic. But when I type , nothing error page. I went to the IIS setting (manager) and under the Internet Information Services i do see my Desktop (local machine) listed. But before there was a tree structure that broke down into ,"web: and SMTP. But right now there is nothing under there. Weird! I ried reinstalling it but nothing. Only thing I did before it started acting crazy was get a cable modem installed and did the windows updates. Can someone please help!
