IIS 5 hangs with warning event ID 37, source - w3svc

Its windows 2000 server,used for shared hosting. some time IIS stops responding after loging some warnings --- with event ID 37, source - w3svc

Out of process application '/LM/W3SVC/155/Root' terminated unexpectedly.

after restarting service , it works fine
what is the cause & what is its solution

This (or something very similar) has happened to me about a year ago. I cannot remember exactly what I did to rectify the problem, but I do know that I got my answer from

http://www.microsoft.com/technet.
