IIS 5 and ASP Pages - Need Help quick

We recently rebuilt our web server with Windows 2000. I setup IIS and recreated the web sites and pointed them to there respective directories. One site has asp pages for just about every link. Almost 100% of the time, I get a page not found when clicking a link or even going to the main page, and always, 100% of the time, if I hit refresh it comes up. Once I refresh it, I can continue to reach that link with no problems. This only happens with ASP pages, and it didn't happen on IIS 4. Any ideas?

I had a very similar thing happening to me. I discovered that it was the browser not the server. I was using IE 5.5

Hello!

Are you using any type of firewall i.e zonealarm etc. if so then remove firewall and uninstall IIS reboot your machine and reinstall IIS (problem is with Firewall/Antivirus it stop IIS to register some of DLL's )
