I have Exchange 5.5 SP3, NT 4.0 and SP 6a, and IIS 3.0. I am wanting to do OWA and began reading up on it. I tried installing from the Exchange CD, and I found that I apparently don't have ASP installed. I was told that the NT Option Pack had that and I should install it. I also am supposed to upgrade to IIS 4.0. That left me with a few questions. Once I tried the install, it told me the pack wasn't tested with anything newer than SP4. It also said I couldn't use the Internet Information Service while using SMTP and to uninstall SMTP. When I looked further down the list, there were many Exchange specific things that would have been upgraded.
Two questions here....
If I uninstalled SMTP is it worth the risk of trying to upgrade with the option pack?

And is there another way to get ASP working with IIS 3.0 (It's on the system).

I'm sure someone can make some sense of this and hopefully help me get OWA working!

Thanks alot!

Nope. You need IIS4 on the option pack. Forget the little warning about SP3 and continue. I don't use SMTP with my Exch and OWA and it works perfect, well near perfect :)
