I need that does something like this
< = Like IIf(IsNull([Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]),"*",[Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]))
or this
Like IIf(IsNull([Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]),"*",<=[Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]))

if its a numeric value why are you using "like"?

<= IIf(IsNull([Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]),99999,[Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]))

Should work if you want values that are less than or equal to the value of texthours.

Your thread title says "values greater than", which would be

>= IIf(IsNull([Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]),-99999,[Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]))

And what about this ?
<= Nz([Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]),9999)
Or this ?
>= Nz([Forms]![frmTrainingHoursLess40]![TextHours]),0)

Hope This Helps, PH.
