igoldmine and server

We are moving up to CE from standard and wanting to move away from synching. I have heard that igoldmine is good. My first question is do we need a seperate server to run igoldmine? we only have 30 users and ten of those would use igoldmine. Would it be terribly slow?

Has anyone heard of go-global? I understand it is the same thing as igoldmine, just not branded by goldmine - any advantage or disadvantage between them?

While I am at it, can anyone give me a tip on this problem: we want to email john doe's contact record and information to associate john smith (another gm contact record). How can we do this in goldmine - the easiest possible way? Is our only option to print to pdf then email? or is there another solution?

Hi,

Ok iGoldMine is fine, but only if you want to hand control to your GoldMine partner. Otherwise Windows Terminal Server is better... it not only gives you GoldMine but access to what ever else you need/want to deploy in the future. So Windows Terminal Server (WTS) is a better generic IT solution.

Just if you want the reseller to be responsible for running it.

Why would the reseller be running it? It would be installed on our servers and we would be running it. Even if we paid them to install it, what else would they have to do? Have you ever heard of go-global?

If you want to run it thats fine. I personally would rather install WTS.

Go Global is iGoldMine or rather iGoldMine is an OEM'd version of Graphon from Go-Global.
