Ok I have a spreadsheet that contains a time log. The log has a time the employee came in, left for lunch, returned from lunch and then left for the day. In the case they were on PTO that day, PTO is entered into the box. I have the formula =((B7-B6)+(B5-B4)) to calculate the time for the and then =SUM(B9:F9) to calculate the time for the week. I am getting a #VALUE error on the days that PTO is used and then the sum formula waon't work. I want to create a formula to ignore the cells with text and on 2007 excel I used an IFERROR formula and it worked, but my work has 2003 and I will be sharing this, so back to the drawing board....any suggestions?

hi,
I have the formula =((B7-B6)+(B5-B4)) to calculate the timeDURATION.
Please post a sample of the TABLE DURATION VALUES that is representative of the values that you are summing in =SUM(B9:F9)
