here's what i'm trying to do....
have a background that loops..then an object will fadein in the middle of the third loop.

I have two layers...one with background animating...another with object fadingin. how can i ignore(or make invisible) the layer with object animation until the middle of third loop? I have the background looping 2.5 times and freezing. I want the object to fadein right before the background freezes.
am i going about it a wrong way? if so, which way is better? If what i'm trying to do is ok, how can i ignore the "object fadein" layer in the first two loops?
thank you in advance for the help.

Why not have it loop through the animation that 2.5 times, then add a little extra clip part on the end of that, and have it skip over the looping process, and go to the end...

The Learning process is just a way to get rid of all the stupids in your head.
