Just curious as to whether it is possible to display volume control on my laptop which runs windows XP. Not sure where to post this question.

I want it to be just like the TV where when you turn up the volume it would show it.

Like I said "Ignorance is Bliss

Tickie,

There is usually an icon in the systray for volume. Click this and you will get a slider bar to raise or lower the volume. there is also a check box to mute sound. You might also want to investigate whether there are any tools provided for the installed sound card as some of these allow an 'on screen' display.
