Hi Guys,
Looking for some help here. (Mitel Ignite Client)
There's a few computers, that the users are not able to send a message within Ignite.
It used to be just mine, which I figured was due to all the testing but now it's happening with one client as well.

From the webversion - there is no 'New Message' Icon.
From the Desktop version the New Email window never seems to load. Loading. (this is what most people use at our office)

What am I doing wrong here.
I've already re-installed the Component Client, gone over my profile and the other problematic profiles without any improvement.

Mitel: Enterprise Server 9
Mitel MiXML Server Edition 3.1

Thank you for responding.

I reset IIS, no change, reset local internet settings with no luck.

I verified in the SDK and it's not reporting any issues

Product Version 9.0.0.0
Build Number 9.0.01168.1

Seems I will have to look into some patches or something.

Have have what looks to be the same issue with a user running 9.0.1.0. Have you tried using web ignite? My site the same user works in the web. Also FWIW, web will be the future from what I was told and the desktop client will be going away. My issue is in design's hands

Thanks @jpruder
I'm glad it's not only me. It's definetly a computer issue, likely something else that was installed that's causing it.
Maybe version of office, I've already tried resetting Internet Explorer settings and clearing cache etc with no luck.
The 'New Email' button is missing when I go to the browser. I'll keep digging.

What is the display resolution on the PC?
Try changing this to 100% if it's not.

I remember this helped me once some time back.

Ok. So the issue is the version of .net.
I have version 4.8 and it seems to stop working after version 4.7.
This is the only tie I am able to find on computers that still work. The package comes with Version 4.5.

Emails in the desktop client were nothing but a nightmare for me.
I switched to web ignite pre 9 specifically because of this. And yes certain .net installs, if you didn't have certain windows themes installed and any other than default screen settings (like setting beyond 100%) caused issues.
Also no annoying needing local admin rights, pains about desktop software if you upgrade etc if you use web ignite. Although it is strongly recommended that you use Chrome as your browser.

Mitel has a YouTube channel that has videos on most things web ignite, here is the email one - or just search "mitel web ignite email"
I strongly suggest watching other videos as well to really begin to get a sense of what you can do with the software.

In web ignite there are a few things to bare in mind:
- You must have your email agent assigned to the logged in employee
- Security profile should allow agents things like Pick, transfer, junk
- On the web ignite screen above you have not clicked on of the drafts in your inbox - you won't see any email options until you do
- To create a new email you click on contacts, type the email address in the search field, on the resulting bubble below put your cursor over it and select email. You can email even if the person is not in contacts

Finally I know that there was definitely some flaky behaviour from the MICC SDK that seems to be mostly resolved in 9.1.2

Good Luck
