I have been thru the documentation and scraped the web best I could. I can't find any documentation on igniting this unit. I've done it a couple times over the last few years. consoled into the unit and i have a login prompt and for the life of me i can't figure out or remember what the darn default password is.

Read this cover to cover - did i miss it?

They don’t have a default password. After the first boot it will prompt you to the ignition process to set IPs, passwords, certificate data and more. There you have to enter passwords and can login with ucsec user and the password you set into the web GUI.

That's really strange because this was out of the box. I guess I'll have to reload it. Just wouldn't be any fun if I didn't have to re-image an Avaya appliance.

Create USB drive and boot from there. Needs about one hour and you can start ignition again.

new V7.2 systems
do have a default password out of the box
Username root
password Avaya_123

once logged in reignite the using by typing SBCEinit restart

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

IPGuru,

Thanks for the info. I got in.7.2 - does that mean that I need 7.2 licenses? Because I haven't received the licenses yet and I presume they were ordered as 7.1. thx again! Just pulled down the 7.2 doc it's right there in plain text.

Great hunt IPGuru.

Licenses are 7.x. All good!
