Hiya,
I have just got hold of a 4400 switch. I seem to be having problems with IGMP. I want to be able to stream some Radio Stations (from Satellite) using VLC on my local network at home, but I seem to be seeing Multicast traffic all over therplace. I bought this switch in order to control the appearance of IGMP multicast stuff on device which I did not want to see getting MIPT

IGMP snooping is enabled on my switch, but I am still seeing Multicast traffic, and it is taking down the rest of my network, certainly my router anyway.

I upgraded to software version 6.13 but that's made no difference.

Any ideas guys?

Thanks,

Rob.
