ifstream & streambuf assistance 1

Hello.
I was wondering if anybody had or knew of any handy tuts for manipulating file data using ifstreams and ofstreams and streambufs, as I'm sadly lacking in expertise, here.
Any help gratefully appreciated.

One good book is Chuck Allison's C/C++ Code Capsules[/b]. I'll look around for a good web site.

I use file streams a lot. Post a specific question here and I'll see if I can help.

Cheers, man - excellent link - there's a load of stuff on exception handling & the STL I need, too (I'm always very lazy with alot of the essential stuff until I start coming a real cropper w/ it).
