Hi,

I have a program that creates files in the QDLS share on the Windows IFS on the iSeries. I need to give a user access to only this share.

Were do I lock it down so the user can only see that share not the whole IFS. Can it be done throught the Windows AD User, or is it an iSeries User I have to apply the permissions to.

Thanks

I think you need to enroll the user first (GO PCSTSK or WRKDIRE), then in WRLFLR, place a 14 beside the folder name and F13 to add the user. Or use WRKLNK and traverse to the folder list in QDLS and use option 9 to add/delete/edit users. As far as AD or LDAP auth, I've never tried it.
