iframe resize

hi, i though this had been posted but it appears not to have been

i have a problem, i have an iframe that needs to be resized, to the content..

now.. is there any way, to query the iframe itself, by stating something along the lines of

if iframe has scrollbar, then increase iframe height.

i have looked online and the only things i can find are ones for same domain.. however this is for a cross domain search engine..

ie in the iframe is a search from their site, and when you search, it loads the search results in the iframe. i need the iframe to grow to the size of the page
