When I logon to Ebay I get this message:

If you are seeing this page, your browser settings prevent you from automatically redirecting to a new URL.

If I then select from my browser drop-down it goes straight through without any porblems.

Any idea's?

Thanks

When I logon to Ebay I get this message:

How do you "logon to Ebay"? What URL are you using?

If I then select from my browser drop-down it goes straight through without any porblems.

Which browser are you using?
I assume "browser drop down" means the address bar?

That said, you may either have a setting in your browser prefs that prevents redirects. Probaby a security thing.
It could also be another security program, like Norton, "protecting" you.
Did you check your browser prefs?
Do you have any other security software running (remember Windows XP has a security centre - I can't check mine as I use a different firewall product)?

I click My eBay, type in my username and password and then click 'sign in securely'. It is then that the page appears with that message. If I try clicking the link on-screen to re-direct me, nothing happens. If I then change to from my browser address bar and click 'go', everything works fine.

I have Zonealarm and Panda Antivirus (Titanium) running, which are both up-to-date. Windows firewall is not enabled, because don't trust it!

Thanks

Are there any settings in ZoneAlarm or Panda AV to prevent sites redirecting you?

Incidentally, as far as I know you shouldn't run 2 firewalls anyway... so your'e ok there. :)

Nothing in either application.

It's been like it for about 6 months. One day it was fine, the next, the rest is history.

Incidently, I tried adding ebay to my 'Trusted Zone', but the sites button is greyed out and won't let me add any sites.

Are you going to ebay via a saved Favourite?
As if you are you should delete the favourite then recreate it, just using the url

I don't use the favourites entry. I type it in the address bar.

Thanks
