We do not have a network administrator at my place of business so another guy a I handle the duties.
I recently moved to a new apartment and set up mu system. All was well until I tried to play some tunes and no sounds filled my ears. I dutifully checked all my connections, and rebooted, did not work. I re-installed drivers and checked all the system device files. All was well.
Two days later after talking to some people and even calling Compaq without any help I walked by the speakers and noticed a "mute" button on the side of the speaker.
All is well now except for the egg on my face and part of the foot that is still in my mouth.
I guess most of the time it's the simplest solution that works. ASD...
