Is there anyway to create an if statement as a calculated field in an Excel Pivot Table? I have a report that I download that shows the % of inventory above Safety Stock. I need to count how many are less than 10%. My initial thought was to create a calculated field that says if(qty<=.1,1,0), but it doesn't appear that this formula works in a pivot table calculated field.

Let me know if I can do this or any suggestions on a better way to do it.

Thanks

Hi,

Make the formula in your source data, as an additional column. In fact, if you use Data > Import External Data... to either query or import the data into Excel, there is a feature that will automatically adjust any calculated columns immediately adjacent to the right of your query table.
