Hi all,

I have a text box in the detail of a continuous form.

Control: =[ShipDay]

I have ordered the form by this field. If the value of this field equals the value of the same field in the previous detail record I want to hide the field.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Jason

For your information, In a continuous detail form, It is not possible to code a control to make to visible / invisible for a particular value.

Either the control becomes visible for all records or invisible.
In a continuous detail form, individual records cannot have one textbox visible and the same textbox as invisible for next record.

Atmost you can make it either enabled / disabled based on a perticular value or expression but not visible / invisible. i.e., it is not possible to show or hide a control based on field value in a continuous detail record.
Either the textbox gets shown on all detail records or gets hidden.

The above scenario is only in the case of continuous detailed form, while it is possible to fully code a control to make it visible or invisible based on a value or expression in a single form.

Regards,

Damn.

Thanks for your response anyway mate.

It may be possible to do something that suits with Conditional formatting. For example, make the text white and disable the control.
