If any one have solution/suggestion for my question, that will helpful for me!!
Question: If its possible to change the Order of the Parameter list in CE 8.5 ?

Versions: CR 8.5, CE 8.5 and Sql Server 2000

Issue:
I have 3 parameters p1,p2,p3. In Crystal report we have buttons (up and down arrow buttons) to change the order of the parameter list ; Using that options, I changed the order as p2,p3,p1.
But after publishing the report in CE 8.5, the order of the parameter list looks p1,p2,p3.
And another compication is all the conditions for the parameters are writen in stored proecedure. (No rights to touch the stored procedure. Securty!!!)

Why the order change?
Because the end user very rarely using the parameter p1, so they want to move p1 to the end as a final entery (ofcourse they are using default value).
But the list of parameter in real-time - are 10 parameters, I need to move the 10th parameter to 2nd position.

I'm not sure how much I expained the problem clearly? If any questions/clarifications, please let me know.

Thanks,
Regards,
MK

The list is alphabetical, all you can do is rename the parameters to start them with a number to keep them in a specified order.

eg.

"01 - ParameterName"
"02 - ParameterName"
"03 - ParameterName"

Thanks for your replay.
The p-names are not in alp. order.

order is like this:
Result
Date of birth
Active
Emp Name

now i need to move the "Emp Name" in the first position
and "Result" in the last position.
But changing the p-name is little bit dificult, because we are using the p-name inside the stored proecdure.

I hope u understand what i need. If its still confusing please let me know.
Thanks
MK

Hi

Just an FYI that you can control where the parameter shows up in the list as well as where the items in the list show up.
