If I stop the sendmail service, can I still got the mail which sent by the machine?

Hello, I am Nikolai NG.
Come from Carton, China.
I love here.

I "think" that WebSphere has it's own email sending process and it does not use the AIX sendmail process for sending email.

However, the easiest way would be to do a test.
First try sending an email from your Web Application to make sure it works. Then turn off the sendmail process and repeat sending the test email. If it works, great - otherwise, turn on sendmail and try it again. If it still won't work - then reboot the AIX server (sometimes just restarting the process doesn't cause all AIX processes (specificaly Java Apps) to see the process.)

Good luck.
