If I dial 800-532-7486, it tells me the correct number I'm calling from 2xx-639-6989 but if I call 888-294-9681 it tells me I'm calling from 639-698-9000. it thinks 639 is the areacode and it adds 000 to the number. I looked in the CDB bud didn't see anything. anyone have an idea why this is happening.

The reason I'm asking about this is bacause people who are using calling cards get charged for an international call because the card company see's the NXX 639 as the originating country code an bills for an international call, some how it's not getting the right areacode 2xx.

PS if I dial out on a local trunk and dial my own number, when it comes back in it only shows the 6396989, who do I get it to show the areacode with the 6396989?

THE PROVIDER OF THE SECOND 800 SERVICES HAS A PROBLEM, OR THE SWITCH AT THE OTHER END DOES

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Capture your DCH messaging to see what you are sending. Also, on NXX based calls, the switch sends 7 digits, on NPA based, it sends 10. Youalso need to make sure your NET_DATA and CLID information is provisioned correctly.
