I use IE5.5 SP2,Win98SE,DSL Router. Recently whenever I click on a link nothing happens but the busy cursor. I click on Stop and then the url link I wanted to go to appears in the address and the usual "Action Cancelled" white page. I place the cursor at the end of the url, click enter and the page loads immediately. It makes the internet time consuming.
Also, is it possible to install IE5.5 over the top of that which is installed or do I need to uninstall and reinstall?
Thanks
Cerillah

Cerillah,

Here we go again.

One thing to try is:
Gio to Start>Run, and type:
regsvr32 urlmon.dll
