Hi,

I've a table of SOPs which is linked to a table of (Many) names, which also contains a tick box if training is required. I want to creat a report where the row headers are the names and the columns are the SOP numbers.

Name 1 Name 2 Name 3 ect.
SOP1 Yes No Yes
SOP2 No No Yes
SOP3 ect.

Is tihs possbile? (both the names and SOPs can change)

Thnks in advance

Well once you have decided which way round you want your rows and columns:)-) then you could use a crosstab query to do this. Start a new query using the New button and you will get the Crosstab option. I imagine you want the 'First' trainingrequired value.
Once you have the initial results, go into the query design and format the trainingrequired column to show Yes/No instead of -1/0.

You cannot have more than 256 columns (just like any other query).

Thanks,

Cross tab queries are one of the functions I've never understood the point of, now I know.

Thanks
