IEAK 6 package prevents new browser window to open 1

I customized IE6 using IEAK and now when I open a new brower window by Clicking on a link it open to a blank page with a blank address...I tried reinstalling IE6 over it and it still keeps the IEAK options with the same issue.
I really don't wanna reinstall XP just over this little "Glitch".
Help!

I'm having the exact same problem with my IE6 on XPPro SP1.
i put a post on here and a guy said it was a problem with my java thing or other. so whats IEAK? becuase that might be my problem too.

try this..

Start>Run Type in regsvr32.exe urlmon.dll (copy and paste the command if you wish) and then press <enter> Wait for the confirmation and then reboot.

Ok that worked!!! That is fantastic....now SESaskDFC, can you explain what that is? Now I don't have to reinstall the OS.....Thanks again.

Howdy:

Basically, all you did was tell Windows to allow IE to open a URL through a link.. For some strange reason, Microsoft neglected to install the command themselves during install.
