IEAK 6 gives error when launched

I have just downloaded and installed IEAK 6. When I try to start either Internet Explorer Customization Wizard or IEAK Profile Manager, I get the following error:

ieak6wiz.exe - Entry Point Not Found
"The procedure entry point PrivacyGetZonePreferenceW could not be located in the dynamic link library WININET.dll."

I do have the WININET.dll file. I have installed IEAK on 2 different workstations with the same results.

Any ideas?

Are you trying to run it on Win95? IE6 will not install on Win95.

Have you installed the basic version 6.0 final browser?

If you are running an other operating system, you have an incorrect (most likely oldser) version of wininet.dll.
My version is 6.00.2600.0000

That must be the problem. wininet.dll on my workstation is version 5.0.3315.1000. I am currently running IE 6 Beta version. I will install the new IE 6, then try again. Hopefully this will work!
