Hi,

I just not know why my IE8 always go to a particular website after time out? Can I change it by setting in somewhere?

You are not telling us all that you know jslmvl. Try telling us in more detail what "after time out" means, which "particular website" and what website you think it should go to - what is the home page set to on Internet options either in Control Panel or IE8 tools menu - if the menu is not visible, press the <Alt> key.

Sorry!
Say, I typed in a website address. After looked for 20 seconds without success, my IE8 redirect to Can I change this?

I don't know - My IE8 does not work like that - if I mistype a web address, Internet explorer says that it cannot display that webpage.
If I select bing as a search tool, and enter a search term, then bing does its best to search for that information. There is no "Timeout" even though this is a little netbook.

If you don't want "bing" as a search tool, you can change which search provider you use through Tools (or Control Panel), Search, Settings, and choose the search provider(s) that you want.

Thanks a lot.

When I typed a wrong address, IE8 redirect me to a search site, the ispcommect site. While when I typed a corrct address and the site of the address is down, IE8 redirect me to with some searched results.

I tried flyboytim's suggestion, but couldn't find "Search" under "Tools" in my IE8.

Sorry, I missed out Tools (or Control Panel), Internet Options, General Search, Settings, and choose the search provider(s) that you want.

Internet Explorer uses bing as it's default search engine. (Bing's results are the same as Yahoo.)

On the General tab, you can also choose your home page default.

That may be your ISPConnect connect page - are you in the UK? Do you use TISCALI?

ISPCONNECT seems to be used for testing bandwidth speeds only, so it has no real content.
