IE8 CSS Question 1

Dear All,
The front page of my site (

http://www.greggriffiths.org)

looks the same in all browsers except IE8 (with compatibility mode off), can someone point me in the direction of the issue as I hoped it would look the same given that the page validates and IE8 is supposed to be more standards compliant a la FF.

If you change the height of the top buttonBar from 10% to 50px it looks pretty good in IE8 and Fx3...

Incidentally, your CSS does not validate, as you are using HTML style comments in an external CSS file - which you should remove.
