IE8 browser problems with my blog

[GLComputing]

My Blog is

http://Blog.GLComputing.com.au

This seems to work in both IE and Firefox - although, the text in the header is much bigger in IE. Other text is fine

But, what is more of an issue, if I go to one of the articles like:

http://blog.glcomputing.com.au/2009/05/how-to-get-faster-technical-support-for.html

FireFox will display it, but IE8 returns this error:

Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site

Operation aborted

Note: it sometimes loads ok the first time, but try a couple of refreshes and it will fail.

Two questions:
How can I fix the error in IE?
How can I get the header text to display the same size as it does in Firefox?

Any ideas?

That is strange, but there are several problems - starting with no valid document type. Fixing the validation problems will go a long way toward making the site look the same in multiple browsers.

For what it's worth, the font issue was a CSS fix.

The crash was actually an issue in Google's blogger code, fixed by changing the Comment box from in-line to a pop-up... no-wonder I couldn't find the issue in my code :-(
