I've just started checking over my website in Internet Explorer 8 beta, thinking I wouldn't see any problems. I do, unfortunately.
Every other browser in existence, from Firefox to Safari to IE5.5, displays my website the way I want it to. IE8 doesn't. I've attached a graphic that shows this:
I have a table (boo, using tables for layout, I know, but it's less of a pain this way) with some text in each cell. There are also some background images. For some reason, in IE8, the text is vertically aligned with the base of the table, where every other browser vertically aligns the text in the middle. Is this an IE8 bug, or do I have something to worry about? Here's a link to the offending website.
