Hello,

Using an older version of Windows XP and automatic updates updated to IE 7, now I cannot open any web pages although my broadband connection yahoo DSL is working with yahoo chat. I already unistalled ie 7 and still have the same issue what can I do.

Hi,

I was not able to open htts:// sites, it's saying page cann'g be found. this problem while siging into yahoo,hotmail etc.,

Is any body faces this problem, please let me if any fix for this.

OS: Windows XP SP2, IE7

I have tried all options which i got from internet and reintalled operating system also.

Is This problem relateed to software problem or any computer hardaware problem.

Please let me if any fixes for this isssue.

Errors Message:

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:
Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.

Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

Internet connectivity has been lost.
The website is temporarily unavailable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

For offline users

You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
To view subscribed feeds

Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.

To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages)

Click Tools , and then click Work Offline.
Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view.

Hi

In IE open the options - advance settings and select Use SSL 2.0 - this is off by default in IE7 and if the web site you are accessing use SSL 2.0 you will not be able to open it.
IE6.0 used SSL 2.0 by default.

It's a security feature to protect you, go figure...
