Quick question for you all.....

How do I get IE7 to always start maximised when it has been closed down in a reduced window?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Rob.

Check this out from a couple of IE7 Testers:

Maximized State of Windows Not Persistent
Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1 does not remember that I keep my IE window maximized, and every time I launch it, it opens restored. The same holds for any link I open in a new window. If I close a maximized What's known about InternetExplorer Version 7

IE7 it should be maximized.

IE7 doesn't remember it's last state. It opens in a small window and you have to maximize it each time.

Sounds like a bug that needs and will get fixed, hopefully.

So it's just a bug in the software that's been there since IE6 then?

This is very common with many pieces of software. One thing that you can do for IE (as well as anything else that has this problem) is to not maximize. Just drag the window edges to nearly full screen size. Close the window & it should stay for the next time you open it.
