In Internet Explorer 5 I was able to turn off the browser options (Tools, Internet Options) by changing the registry settings. This does not work for Internet Explorer 6. Is there any way to disable the Options so users can't access them and make changes?
You can rename the inetcpl.cpl file to something else and that will keep them from making any changes. joegz

From what I read you should still be able to do that with IE6. What is happening when you attempt it.
Another suggestion would be to use the Group Policy Editor. It is VERY effective in restricting machine based facilities or user configuration restrictions; can be easily distributed to networked machines and does not require hacking the registry.
