Followed the thread on gif's and jpg's not displaying and found some new area's to explore, however my problem is a little different and hopefully someone can help me. I recently downloaded all critical updates and IE6 SP1 for Windows ME. Now, when I start IE6, my home page loads ok and all animations play.
However, if I encounter a page where the
animations "flicker" with white boxes, all subsequent pages
with animations will flicker ( even my home page ) and
when scrolling ALL pictures will "flash" with white. My
vid drivers are up to date as are my monitor drivers. My
refresh rate is 800x600 85mhz which is the best for my
monitor. I unistalled all macromedia flash which helped
but did not fix the problem. This did not happen in IE6
non-SP1.
Thanks in advance, skimmers
