I need to roll out IE6 to all of the desktops in my organisation to ensure another application runs correctly. I don't have access to SMS and I need a relatively simple solution. I have already looked into using the IEAK and it requires administrator privileges to make the necessary changes when writing back to the registry. This install will need to be done 'silently' preferably when the user logs on or perhaps during the night when the pc is not being used......would appreciate any ideas that anyone has to offer. Please remember that this has to be a relatively easy answer as we don't have a lot on site here!!!!!

Many thanks in advance..

Colby.

I recommend running it via the command prompt in Dameware.

Copy the install file to a temp directory on the remote pc and run it like so:

IE6setup.exe /c:"ie6wzd.exe /d /s:""#E"
