Hi All,
I am running XP Home and for some reason I seem to have lost the ability to click Tools--> Internet Options. I get a message boxed 'Restrictions' and saying that this option has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer and to contact my system adminstrator. Now as that's me, I'm at a bit of a loss as I've never found talking to myself helps much!

It's not something I've intentionally done. Any body got any ideas?

Marc

Thanks PAndersen for that, one of those registry settings did the trick. The only thing that worries me is why it went that way in the first place. Also, now that I've managed to get into the options bit, it won't let me update the home page. I don't really want to I hasten to add, but I'd like to be able to if I did!

I'm wondering if I need to reinstall IE6. If so, I'm not too sure how to do it, as the only disc I got with the system is a recovery disk, which I think re-writes XP.

Many many thanks PAndersen. Two problems, two solutions, one star.
