hi,
i'm using IE6 on WinXP.
after finishing loading the page content, the content disappears (blank page). anyone else got this problem? a virus?

please help!

thanks a lot

An MS KB that likely applies.

My shortcut to the above that often works: Open a notepad session and copy/paste the below as a new file ie_fix.cmd

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Msjava.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll

Save the new file and double-click it to execute the instructions.

thanks a lot, but i've still got that problem

it only happens on sites with framesets ... after loading the frames IE only displays the eg: frameset.html

Do you have any anti-pop up software that might be causing this?

I'd also suggest trying another browser to see if you can duplicate the problem. Then you can narrow it down to either the browser or the OS.

i've tried mozilla ... everything is fine.
IE6 is not able to display frames anymore. i've installed ad-aware software a few days ago but the problem occured today. i've uninstalled ad-aware ... still no frames.

Maybe run cwshredder once...

IF that doesn't do it; re-download IE and install again.

IE, Tools, Internet Options, Security, Internet Zone, Custom Settings, "Allow META Refresh" must be Enabled.
