ie6 only displays home page

I have just changed two XP Pro PCs on a domain from dynamic to static IPs because it was taking 5 mins to log on.

Since I have done that one pc is fine, but the other has an intermittent problem of getting past any home page. Sometimes it's ok, other times when you click on a link it displays "page error".

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

First check default gateway, DNS, proxy ...
