Sorry, but I have dial up service with Netzero.com.

I used spysweeper and had it clean up some stuff then I got the following error.

With IE6 it will show the error "Internet Explorer Could Not Open Search Page". When I use (Iexplore.exe)

However, when I use Explorer.exe it will open up webpages fine.

I have used spybot S&D, cwshredder, spysweeper and nothing has worked.

I have tried to reinstall IE6 and it didn't do anything.

I am about to clean my drives and re-install XP.

Please help, I will try anything prior to cleaning my drives and re-installing.

Thanks,
Dan

click Internet Options on the Tools menu, click the Connections tab, click LAN Settings, and then change the setting for the Automatically Detect Settings check box to the opposite of the current setting. Click OK until all dialog boxes are closed, and then quit and restart Internet Explorer.
