IE6 freezes in XP while surfing

It always freezes on the same pages and images.
Just starts loding the image and blamo, freeze.

Only remedy is to reboot.

I checked my history and tried clicking through those pages offline and the same pages cause the freeze. I know its not the website because the same pages work on my other pc with win2000.

Help!

Are there sevice packs for IE6.0.26

Depending on your OS and your install history....there's a repair option for IE.

Looks like there is no repair tool for IE6 for XP.

There is SFC (remember it from 98?) which works the same way...comparing what should be there with what's there...and will ask for your CD.
Another fix may be repair install of XP.

Just a suggestion as this may or may not make a difference. Try seting the video hardware acceleration from FULL to NONE and see if you have same issue.

I don't use XP so I am not sure if it is any different than previous versions. But this can be found under your DISPLAY proerties. joegz
